This policy explains what personal data My Coffee Porto collects through mycoffeeporto.com, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the website only — data you give us in person at one of our cafés is not processed through this site.
My Coffee Porto, based in Porto, Portugal, is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. You can reach us at contact@mycoffeeporto.com or +351 964 850 854 for any question about this policy or about data we hold.
We only collect what you actively send us. If you use a contact or wholesale enquiry form, we receive the details you type into it — typically your name, email address, and whatever you tell us about your business or question. We use that information solely to answer you and, where relevant, to prepare a quotation.
We do not collect data in the background. This site does not run advertising pixels, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics, and it does not build a profile of you.
We process enquiry data on the basis of your request, in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up — normally no more than two years, unless the exchange leads to a commercial relationship with its own record-keeping obligations. Server logs are kept for the short retention period set by our hosting provider.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. Data may be handled by the providers that host this website and deliver our email, acting on our instructions. Some pages embed a Google Maps frame; if you view one, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our processing it, or ask us to restrict it. Write to contact@mycoffeeporto.com and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
